40 questions, split into two sections
The Ontario G1 knowledge test has 40 questions in total, divided evenly into two sections:
- 20 questions on road signs: recognising signs and knowing what each one means.
- 20 questions on rules of the road: the laws and safe-driving practices you'll use every day.
Each question is multiple choice: you read the question, look at the options, and pick the correct one. Some road-sign questions include a picture of the sign.
How long does it take?
