What does the no turns sign mean?

This sign shows both turn arrows inside a red circle with a slash, meaning no turns are allowed in either direction. You must continue straight through.

This reads the sign backwards. A green ring means the action shown is allowed, while a red circle with a line through it means it is banned. Both arrows sit under the slash here.

Warnings about traffic in both directions come on yellow diamond signs, such as divided highway ends. This is a white square with a red slash, so it gives an order, and the arrows mean turns.

Divided highway begins is a yellow diamond warning sign that tells you to keep to the right-hand road. Nothing is crossed out on it, and it never carries a red circle and slash.
