Do not stop in the intersection
No stopping signs are posted in pairs or groups, and they cover the whole area between them. The symbol struck out here is a straight arrow, so this sign bans a movement through the intersection instead.

One-way traffic ahead
The one-way sign points out the direction traffic may travel and crosses nothing out. Here the straight arrow sits under a red slash, so it forbids that direction rather than pointing you along it.

Straight-through traffic has the right-of-way
A red circle with a slash never grants a privilege, it only bans. Right-of-way at an intersection is shown on a yellow diamond warning sign whose arrow marks which traffic goes first.
