What must you do at a pedestrian crossover in Ontario?
Stop and wait until they have completely crossed the road
You must yield the right-of-way and wait for pedestrians to completely cross the road at pedestrian crossovers and school crossings with crossing guards. Do not start forward until they are entirely across.
Why the other answers are wrong

Proceed once they have passed your half of the road
This is the classic trap. At a crossover you wait for the whole roadway to clear, until the person reaches the far sidewalk, not just until they leave your lane.

Sound your horn and drive slowly around them
The pedestrian has the right-of-way here, and a horn can startle someone into your path. You also must not pass another vehicle within 30 metres of a crossover. Wait until the person is safely on the sidewalk, then go.

Continue if you reached the crossover first
Arriving first decides the order at an all-way stop, not here. A crossover is not first come, first served. A pedestrian in the crossover always gets the right-of-way.
